Blakes Restaurant, Hard Days Night Hotel

Hello there!
Last Easter was mummy's first visit to Liverpool, she loves Beatles and afternoon tea. After doing several researches, I've found this hotel that has Beatles as their main theme and they do serve afternoon tea in their restaurant. I feel so proud of myself cause I killed two birds with one stone.

Also, I just found out Blakes Restaurant is recommended in the Michelin guide.

Everything in this hotel is all about Beatles. If you have got Beatles fever, you will absolutely adore this place! I was feeling absolutely worn out on that day itself so there will be not much of my face in this post. Such classy ambiance x

Here is the afternoon tea that we have ordered:

Selection of finger sandwiches

Scones with cream & jam

Selection of cakes & tarts

Our afternoon tea was rather simple. The typical sandwiches, cakes and scones. The set came with two pots of teas. There were a few odd selection of teas but I can't recall what they were. Sorry! It was not too expensive for an afternoon tea for two. Not forgetting, Hard Days Night Hotel is a 'Fab 4' star hotel. We were not feeling that hungry so we felt just right after tea.

We walked around taking lots of pictures after tea. As I've mentioned, mummy loves Beatles so it was literally one picture after another. It was a nice, relaxing evening indeed.

To be honest, I did not enjoy my last Easter as much. I was really worn out due to all of the planning for mummy's visit, cheerleading practices that I cannot afford to miss, tickets and hotel bookings for my upcoming cheerleading competition and visiting brothers, so on and so on. However, I still loved it cause keeping myself busy was one of the ways to not revise for my last exams. Hee.

The Italian Club Fish, Bold Street

Hey hey hey!
Moving on from The Beatles Museum, I've brought mummy to The Italian Club Fish for dinner. This restaurant is located at the end of Bold Street, nearby Chinatown. I've heard several good things about this restaurant so have decided to give it a go.

I think the interior design of this restaurant is rather simple. It is small in terms of size so it is pretty cosy. I am a less is more kind of person so I like it! The staffs were really friendly as well. The waitress escorted us to a table that matches our preferences best.

Hello there bloop bloop bloop!

Here are what we have ordered for the night:

Calarami Fritti (Deep fried squids & prawns) £6.95

Spaghetti Alla Pescatora (Thin spaghetti with mixed seafoods) £11.95

Haddock & Chips (Fish & Chips) £13.95

Date night with mummy

OmNomNomNommmz

The foods were rather standard. To be fair, most Italian foods do not taste the same anymore after my trip to Venice. Personally, the prices are a little high but most Italian restaurants are not cheap. Hence, not a place I would visit very often. Otherwise I would be very broke in the end. Still, I am pretty sure there are other places that have higher prices than this does.

The Beatles Story, Albert Dock

Hello theree!
I just realized that I have been traveling around from cities to cities but I have not really discover Liverpool itself, until I really had to. During the last Easter, mummy insisted on going to The Beatles Museum when she visited Liverpool.

The museum is located in Albert Dock. You can choose to buy the tickets online or on the day itself. The Beatles Story museum is associated with other attractions as well, such as Elvis's museum, 4D experience and many more. We only went to The Beatles museum during our last visit. I am not much of The Beatles fan but it is worth a visit.

Personally, I prefer Elvis more than Beatles but I do not know much about both histories.

Do I look like a rocker here? Aww yeah!

Everybody has got Beatles Fever..

... Meanwhile I have Mirror selfie Fever

The famous Yellow Submarine! I do know this song despite not listening to oldies very often.

Selfie in the very submarine!

The famous Imagine lyrics on the wall

I absolutely love this song. Simple lyrics yet such deep meaning x

A random visitor came by and placed that LFC scarf on the white piano. He then started taking pictures of his scarf with the piano using his camera. Left without taking his scarf. Random but okay.

Last but not least, picture with them main people.

I have learnt so much about them after this visit. Even mummy knows things better than I do. It was a walking tour around the museum. If you have got the ultimate ticket, there are more museums that you can visit at the pier head. For a person who does not know much about Beatles, I strongly suggest to visit this museum. You will not regret knowing more about them.

Lots of Love,
